A bordo em Estocolmo

Ontem, 4 de julho de 2012 me despedi da Rússia e embarquei para a Suécia. Assim que retornar ao Brasil continuarei as postagens sobre os lugares fascinantes que conheci em São Petersburgo. Yesterday, 4^th 2012 I left Russia and departure for Sweden. Once I will be back to Brazil I will continue posting about the fascinating places I visited in St. Petersburg.

O voo de São Petersburgo para Estocolmo é de apenas 1h10 minutos e voei com a Russian Airline. Dormi durante todo o voo porque o cansaço resultante dos muitos quilômetros andados em Peterhof no dia anterior e apenas 3 horas de sono antes de ir para o aeroporto me venceu.  The flight from St. Petersburg to Stockholm takes only 1h10 minutes and I flew with a Russian Airline. I slept throughout the entire flight because I was so tired due to the many miles I had walked on the previous day in Peterhof and also because I had slept only 3 hours before heading to the airport.

O aeroporto moderno de Estocolmo já dá uma ideia da organização do país. Da área de desembarque até a esteira para retirar a mala o chão do aeroporto é de madeira, tão aconchegante como se a gente estivesse entrando na casa de alguém. The modern airport in Stockholm gives an idea of the country´s ​​organizing. The floor of the airport from the landing area until the baggage claim is made of wood, looks very cozy as if you were entering into someone's home.

Tomei um ônibus até a estação central de Estocolmo que custa 89.00 coroas suecas (cerca de R$26.00) e são 45 minutos de viagem. No aeroporto peguei um mapa da cidade e me informei sobre a localização do meu hotel. O atendente me disse que o meu hotel ficava há quase 2 quilômetros da estação e eu poderia tomar um metro, taxi ou caminhar. É lógico que escolhi caminhar! Por quê? Pelo prazer de poder andar pelas ruas da Suécia despreocupadamente procurando a ilha na qual o iate que eu ia me hospedar estaria ancorado. A minha mala tem rodinhas e as calçadas são tão perfeitas que puxá-la não foi nenhum inconveniente. I took a bus to central station in Stockholm and cost SEK 89.00 (about USD 12.00) and it was 45 minutes journey. At the airport I took a map of the city and I found out about my hotel location. The attendant told me the hotel was almost 2 km from the station and I could take a metro, taxi or walk. Needless to say I chose to walk! Why? Because it would be so pleasant to walk freely in the streets of Sweden looking for the island in which the yacht I was going to stay would be anchored. My suitcase has wheels and the sidewalks are so well kept that it was not an inconvenient to pull it.

No caminho parei algumas vezes para fotografar e contemplar a beleza de Estocolmo. E assim fui andando pelas ruas antigas até avistar o mar e encontrar o iate Malardrottningen. On the way I stopped a few times to take photos and enjoy the beauty of Stockholm. I kept walking on the old streets until I saw the sea and found the yacht Malardrottningen.

Fiz a minha reserva no iate em janeiro de 2012. Encontrei-o na internet e me pareceu extremamente charmoso. I booked my cabin on the yacht in January 2012. I found it on the internet and seemed to me extremely charming.

A cabine que reservei era a mais simples do iate, pequena, linda, aconchegante e com vista para o lago. Da minha escotilha também vejo outros barcos hotéis ancorados na outra margem. The cabin I booked is the standard of the yacht, small, beautiful, cozy and overlooking the lake.  From my porthole I also see the hotel boats anchored on the other side.

Como estou hospedada em um iate o sistema de ar condicionado é central para todas as cabines e a temperatura é de uns 16C. Fui pedir na recepção o que poderia ser feito para eu não congelar dentro da minha cabine. O rapaz me disse que  não poderia aumentar a temperatura do ar condicionado porque era verão. Então pedi a ele uma folha de papel e durex e disse que eu iria fechar a saída do ar condicionado da minha cabine. Ele me olhou muito espantado dizendo que estava quente e as pessoas sentiam calor. Falei que eu entendia  mas como venho dos trópicos, sinto frio no verão europeu. Ele não discutiu mais comigo e me deu uma folha de papel e o durex. Fechei bem a saída do ar condicionado do teto e mesmo assim o frio invadia a cabine. Então liguei o aquecedor. Juro que nunca vi nada mais bizarro do que um quarto com o ar condicionado ligado no frio e o aquecedor tentando esquentar o ar ao mesmo tempo. Pois é, pode ser estranho, mas a minha ideia maluca funcionou.

As I am staying in a yacht the air conditioning system is a central one for all cabins and the temperature is around 16C. I asked at the reception what could be done for me not to freeze inside my cabin. The young man told me he could not raise the temperature of the air conditioner because it was summer. So I asked him a sheet of paper and tape. I said I was going to close the air conditioning´s exit in my cabin. He looked at me very surprised saying that it was summer and people feel hot. I said that I understood that but as I come from the tropics I feel cold in the European summer. He did not argue with me any longer and gave me a sheet of paper and the tape. I blocked the exit of the cold air it the ceiling but it was still cold in the cabin. So I turned on the heater. I swear I've never seen anything more bizarre than a room with air conditioning cooling it and a heater trying to warm it up simultaneously.  Well, it may be weird, but my crazy idea worked.

Descansei algumas horas antes de sair para almoçar ou jantar porque já não me importo com as horas, apenas com a claridade das noites brancas. I rested a few hours before leaving for lunch or dinner because I do not mind about time I only care with the brightness of the white nights.
No restaurante pedi o cardápio em inglês e escolhi um prato delicioso com salmão defumado, camarão, salada e torta de queijo. At the restaurant I asked for an English menu and chose a delicious dish with smoked salmon, shrimp, salad and a cheese pie.

Em sueco o nome é bem estranho e não havia tradução para o inglês. In Swedish the name is very strange and there was no translation into English.

No caminho de volta para o meu hotel encontrei este carro usando cílios postiços. Acho que esta senhorita estava paquerando as motos cheias de estilo estacionadas ao lado. On the way back to my hotel I found this car wearing eyelashes. I think this lady was flirting with the fancy motorbikes parked close by.

Entrei na minha cabine resfriada e aquecida ao mesmo tempo e dormi profundamente. No café da manhã de hoje um lindo buffet com uma variedade grande de pães, geleias pratos quentes e para a minha surpresa também tinha caviar.  I got into my cabin cooled and heated at the same time and slept deeply. I had a beautiful  breakfast today with a large variety of bread, jams and hot dishes. Surprisingly there was also caviar in the buffet.
